GoToLinks PLAN CHANGES, BILLING & Refund Policy

At GoToLinks, we strive to provide the best possible service for our customers. We offer a 14-day free trial to ensure our service meets your needs before you commit to a paid subscription. Please read our refund policy carefully.

  1. Free Trial.
    • We offer a 14-day free trial for all new users to experience the full power of GoToLinks Pro Plan.
    • No payment is required during the trial period.
    • You can cancel at any time during the trial without incurring any charges.
    • To continue using GoToLinks after your trial period, you must subscribe to one of our paid plans during the 14-day trial period.
    • We limit free trials to one per person or business, and we reserve the right to verify unique trial eligibility.
  2. Subscription Plans.
    • Starter Plan: $14.99 per month, allows you to connect both Instagram and TikTok accounts (one of each) with up to 30 posts per month per platform, along with access to all core GoToLinks features.
    • Pro Plan: $29.99 per month, provides unlimited posts while maintaining the two-social-account connection (Instagram and TikTok), plus access to all core features.
    • Annual billing option: Receive two months free, making our Starter Plan $149.90 (instead of $179.88) and our Pro Plan $299.90 (instead of $359.88), representing a 16.7% savings over monthly billing.
    • All plans will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless canceled.
    • Final pricing may vary based on applicable taxes, including sales tax, VAT, GST, or other local taxes and fees.
  3. Payment Methods and Billing.
    • We accept multiple payment methods: credit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Google Pay, all processed through our Third Party Payment Processor named Paddle.
    • Monthly subscriptions are billed on the same day each month, while annual subscriptions are billed once per year.
    • All prices are in US dollars and will be subject to applicable taxes, fees, and charges based on your location.
    • Subscription payments will be billed using the default payment method in users payment profile; users can change the default payment in the admin view under subscription.
  4. Subscription Management and Cancellation.
    • You can manage your subscription in two ways:
      • Email team@gotolinks.com to request cancellation
      • Visit your subscription management page and click the cancel button
    • For upgrades, please email us at team@gotolinks.com.
    • You're responsible for managing your subscription and canceling before the next billing cycle if you wish to discontinue service.
  5. Plan Changes and Prorated Charges.
    • Upgrading (Starter → Pro or Pro → future tiers)
      • Access: Pro features unlock immediately.
      • Billing: A single prorated charge is added to your next regular invoice; your billing date does not shift.
      • Example – monthly: You pay $14.99 on June 1. On June 15 you upgrade to Pro ($29.99). Your July 1 invoice will include a one-time prorated charge of $7.50 [($29.99 – $14.99) × 15 ÷ 30 days].
    • Downgrading (Pro → Starter)
      • Access: Starter limits apply immediately; Pro features disappear immediately.
      • Billing: Starter pricing begins and you will be credited the unused portion of the term on your next invoice.
      • Example – monthly: You pay $29.99 on June 1. On June 15 you downgrade to Starter ($14.99). Your July 1 invoice will include a one-time prorated credit of $7.50 [($29.99 – $14.99) × 15 ÷ 30 days].
    • Switching Billing Cycles (Monthly ↔ Annual)
      • Monthly → Annual: Immediate upgrade; we bill the prorated difference right away. Your new renewal date is today.
      • Annual → Monthly: Immediate switch; we create a prorated credit or charge immediately. The renewal date is today. Only allowed in the final 15 days of your annual term.
    • Change-Frequency Limits
      • You can adjust your subscription once per calendar month.
      • Plan or cycle changes requested outside the allowed window will display a “Change unavailable” message in-app.
  6. Cancellation and Refunds.
    • Cancel anytime from your Billing page.
    • Your subscription stays active until the end of the current paid period (month or year).
    • We do not offer prorated refunds for unused time once a charge has been processed.
  7. Refund Process for Extreme/Hardship Scenarios Only.
    • To request a cancellation and prorated refund, please contact our support team at team@gotolinks.com.
    • Include your account email address and the extreme/hardship reason for your cancellation.
    • Our team will make a determination on whether this qualifies for a refund and if so process your request within 3-5 business days.
  8. Refund Method. Prorated refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the subscription.
  9. Failed Payments.
    • If a payment fails, we'll attempt to process it up to three times.
    • After failed payments, your account may be suspended until payment is resolved.
    • It's your responsibility to keep your payment information current and valid.
  10. Account Deactivation.
    • Upon cancellation, your account will be deactivated immediately.
    • You are responsible for backing up your data before canceling your subscription.
    • Deactivated accounts may be permanently deleted after 30 days.
    • Reminder: please update your link in bio before you deactivate your account so your followers will not have a bad experience.
  11. Abuse Prevention.
    • We reserve the right to deny refund requests if we detect abuse of our policy or terms of service.
    • Multiple cancellation and refund requests from the same customer may be subject to review.
    • Multiple trial attempts or chargebacks may result in account suspension, and we reserve the right to refuse service when necessary.
  12. Price Changes and Updates.
    • We reserve the right to modify our pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
    • Any price changes will take effect at your next billing cycle.
    • For significant changes to this policy, we'll notify you via email and may require acknowledgment to continue service.
  13. Changes to This Policy. We may update this refund policy from time to time. The most current version will always be posted on our website.
