How quickly can I get up and running?
Two minutes. Seriously. Create your account, connect your social accounts, and we’ll automatically retrieve your last 90 posts and affiliate links. And done!
What kind of Instagram account do I need?
Do I need a Business TikTok account?
No, you do not need a Business TikTok account to use GoToLinks.
Do I need to add my links manually?
For Instagram, we automatically pull the last link from your post caption – all part of the magic of GoToLinks. For TikTok, you will have the option to manually add those links so it’s super quick and easy! Post once, link once, done.
What happens to my existing links when I switch?
We’ll automatically import posts from the last 90 days so that you won’t lose any momentum. Plus, you can manually add any older posts you want to keep featuring.
What if I need help while setting up?
Can I start with one social media profile and add the other one later?
Absolutely! Start with either Instagram or TikTok and add the other one at any time.
Where should I include my GoToLinks link in bio URL? Do I need to include it on Amazon?
Yes! Add your GoToLinks URL to your link in bio for your shoppers to easily access, and in your Amazon Associates Central for your Amazon Storefront. Amazon audits Creators profiles to ensure you are listing all URLs of where shoppers can find your links, so be sure to include your GoToLink link there as well as any other places you include your affiliate Amazon storefront links. Which social platforms work with GoToLinks?

What's the difference between the Starter and Pro plans?
The Starter Plan gives you our hosted link in bio solution for up to 35 posts a month. The Pro Plan gives you the hosted link in bio for UNLIMITED posts per month!
Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan later?
Absolutely! You can switch plans anytime to match your business needs. Whether you’re scaling up or simplifying, we’ve got you covered. Any cancellations and changes will go into effect at the next billing period. But, if you are upgrading to Strategic Plus to get unlimited posts, you’ll get that functionality right away!
Can I pin multiple posts?
Yes! Pin up to 9 posts to maximize exposure for your best-performing content.
How does my post AND link automatically get added to my GoToLinks?
The affiliate link URL must be included in your caption, correctly, when you posted it to Instagram. It can’t be edited quickly after, it needs to be included at time of posting. Then, GoToLinks will automatically pull the post AND the link, and make it visible for shoppers. This functionality is not yet available for TikTok due to TikTok restrictions. We are the only link in bio solution that offers this to save YOU time.
Why doesn’t the auto-syncing of the post AND link work on TikTok?
It works on Instagram, but not on TikTok. We do not auto-sync your links from TikTok in order to keep your account safe. Unfortunately activity like this may flag your account, and GoToLinks is always looking out for the Creator first and foremost.
Why is my TikTok showing blank on my GoToLinks public view?
We do not auto-sync your links from TikTok in order to keep your account safe. Unfortunately activity like this may flag your account, and GoToLinks is always looking out for the Creator first and foremost. If you log into your GoToLinks admin dashboard, you will see your TikTok posts all there after connecting your account. We do not automatically show your photos until a link is added, so you don’t miss out on sales. To make a post visible and add a link: 1) click into a post, 2) add a link, 3) click to make it VISIBLE, 4) save and close. Then that post will be made visible on your public view.
What if I don’t have a link in my caption?
No problem—you can manually add a link to your post and mark the post as visible in your GoToLinks admin dashboard.
What is the red icon over my posts, in my GoToLinks admin dashboard?
The red icon means there isn’t a link connected to your post and therefore your post isn’t visible to your shoppers on your GoToLinks. You can manually add a link to your post and mark the post as visible in your GoToLinks admin dashboard.
Can I use any link from the buttons or my posts on my GoToLinks ?
Yes, on your GoToLinks page that your shoppers will see, you can include links to anywhere in the buttons and posts. Plus, you can link multiple links in each post.
Can I update my GoToLinks profile image?
Yes! You can update your GoToLinks profile picture. It will automatically be the profile picture of the first social channel you connected to GoToLinks. To change it, you can visit “Socials” on your admin dashboard navigation bar and click “Update Profile Photo” from another social account or upload a photo.
Meta Pixel
What is a Meta Pixel and why is it beneficial to me?
When you visit a brand’s website, open Instagram, and then immediately see an ad from that same brand, you probably think, “What a coincidence!”
It’s not a coincidence. It’s the Meta Pixel at work.
A Meta Pixel is a powerful tracking tool that collects data whenever someone visits your GoToLinks page. This lets you track page views on your link in bio, retarget those visitors with more ads, or reach people with similar interests. The pixel gathers valuable data that helps optimize your ads faster and more effectively.
With traditional link in bio tools, your hard-earned traffic gets sent straight to someone else’s website—meaning they collect the data, not you.
We built GoToLinks differently. You can embed your own Meta Pixel directly on your GoToLinks page, so you collect and own every bit of that traffic. This gives you the same optimization power that top advertisers enjoy—no website or custom tech setup required.
That means:
- You own 100% of the data
- You can retarget every visitor
- You can build lookalike audiences
- Your ads optimize faster and cost less
For the biggest return on your ad spend, you can run Meta ads (Traffic or Conversion campaigns—not just Instagram boosts) paired with both a Meta Pixel and the Conversions API on your GoToLinks link in bio to leverage that data.
They’re easy to set up and deliver the most accurate tracking data possible.

How do I set up a Meta Pixel?
- Go to Meta Events Manager at business.facebook.com/events_manager, or navigate manually: Meta Business Center → Ads Manager → Events Manager. Make sure you’re logged into the correct business Facebook account.
- Create your Pixel by clicking “Connect Data” in the top left or select an existing Pixel from the Overview screen.
- Uncheck the box requesting a free conversion.
- Select your ad account, it may show this later or after the previous step.
- Enter a Pixel Name (e.g., Your Name GTL Pixel).
- If you are asked, no category selection is required.
- Note: if you are prompted to do a CAPI set up selection, try to either skip it or exit out of the pop up. Your pixel will save and show later or the next day. Don’t do this step here, there is an easier way to do the CAPI below.
- You will see a Pixel ID (a long number) generated on the screen. It may take some time, refresh the page. Once it loads, copy and screenshot this number.
- Enter your Pixel ID in your GoToLinks admin dashboard. Select Pixel in your admin navigation.
Then, you need to create a Conversion API to run in tandem with your pixel for the most accurate data for the most optimized results. Most businesses now use both together for the most accurate tracking. Learn more about Conversion API.
How do I set up a Conversion API (CAPI)?
The Conversion API (CAPI) should run alongside your Pixel for the most accurate tracking and optimized ad performance. Most businesses now use both together.
- In Events Manager, go to Data Sets.
- In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
- Scroll to the Conversions API section.
- Select Generate Access Token and follow the steps.
- If the button is grayed out:
- Go back to your Business Center and navigate to Settings (bottom-left).
- Under Accounts → Pages, find your business Facebook Page.
- Click Manage.
- Ensure you have Full Access toggled on.
- If needed, use Assign People to add yourself again with full access.
- If the button is grayed out:
- Copy the long access-token string.
- Enter your Conversion API ID in your GoToLinks admin dashboard. Select Pixel in your admin navigation.
How do I check to see if my Meta pixel and CAPI are working?
- Go to Events Manager, then select your Data Set.
- Click PageView under the graph.
- You’ll see another graph with two lines—Browser and Server.
- Hover over the graph to view data comparison. Ideally, the numbers should be similar across both sources.
Troubleshooting: If you see an error message.
This message simply indicates that GoToLinks is pulling data for you. Return to the notification and click “Review Solution”. You may see three options:
- Option 1: Allow
- Option 2: Use a block list
- Option 3: Use neither (the default, which allows everything)
Safety & Security
Is GoToLinks Meta-compliant?
Absolutely. We’re fully compliant with Meta’s policies, so you can scale safely without worrying about restrictions.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays yours. We don’t sell your data ever.
Do I have to give GoToLinks my Instagram or TikTok password?
No. Your passwords are between you and your social media platforms, and we won’t ever see them. When you set up your GoToLinks account, you will be prompted to log into the social media platform of your choice and authenticate directly with them.
Billing & Account
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, Samsung Pay and Apple Pay.
Do I need a credit card to start my free trial?
No – enjoy a 14-day free trial on us, no credit card or commitment needed. Once you know you’re going to want to continue using GoToLinks, go ahead and select a subscription and we’ll convert you to a paid subscription at the end of your free trial period. If you sign up for a yearly subscription, you’ll also get two months free.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. No contracts, no hassles. Cancel with one click from your Account (no email or phone call needed!) whenever you want. You will be able to continue using the platform through the current billing period, and we won’t charge any additional payments.
What happens after my free trial?
We’ll send you email reminders so you can sign up for uninterrupted use. But at the end of the free trial, if you don’t sign up, your account will be deactivated – no hard feelings. We do hope you’ll continue, though! We’ll save all your settings, so you can pick up right where you left off. No interruptions, no stress.
