DISCLOSURE OF PERSONAL INFORMATION

Personnel and Third-Party Service Providers

We employ personnel and engage other companies and people to perform tasks on our behalf and need to share your personal information with them to provide products or services to you. For example, we use a third-party payment processor to process payments on our behalf, so if you purchase a Subscription, the payment processor will have access to the relevant personal information identified above. As another example, all data that we receive is stored on servers hosted by Amazon Web Services.

Meta Marketing (Pixel Feature)

GoToLinks and certain Creators may enable the Meta Pixel on the Services (GoToLinks on its Website; Creators on their individual Grids). The Meta Pixel is a code provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. that may collect information about visitors, including IP address, device and browser information (such as operating system, referrer URL, and cookie identifiers), pages viewed, and actions taken on a Creator’s Grid. This information is sent directly to Meta.

  • GTL’s Use. When GTL enables the Pixel on its own Website, we may use the resulting data to improve our advertising and measure campaign performance.
  • Creators’ Use. When a Creator enables the Pixel on their Grid, they may use the resulting data in their Meta Ads Manager account to measure conversions and build advertising audiences. GTL does not access or store Pixel data collected on behalf of Creators.
  • Meta’s Use. Meta may use the information it receives for its own purposes, including improving its advertising products, in accordance with Meta’s Privacy Policy.
  • Consent / Opt-Out. In the EU/UK, the Meta Pixel is only activated after you provide consent through our cookie banner, and the lawful basis for processing is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. For California residents, the use of the Meta Pixel may constitute a “share” of personal information under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA). You may opt out at any time by clicking the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in our footer or by adjusting your cookie preferences.
  • Ad Preferences. You can manage your Meta ad preferences at this page.

Analytics Services

We use analytics services like Google Analytics and Mixpanel to understand how visitors engage with our Services. You can learn more about the information that Google has access to at this website.

Anonymous Information

We may de-identify your personal information so that you are not identified as an individual, and share that information with third parties (including Creators).

Business Transfers

If we (or our assets) are acquired, or if we go out of business, enter bankruptcy, or go through some other change of control, personal information could be one of the assets transferred to or acquired by a third party.

Legal Compliance

We reserve the right to access, read, preserve, and disclose any information that we believe is necessary to comply with governmental requests, law enforcement or court orders, or enforce or apply our Terms of Service and other agreements.

California Residents Under 16 Years of Age

California law requires us to confirm whether we have actual knowledge that we sell or “share” the personal information of users under 16 years of age, as those terms are defined under California law. Our Platform is only intended to be used by individuals who are at least 18 years of age. We do not have any actual knowledge that we are processing the personal information of individuals who are under 16 years of age.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

We may transfer the personal information of users from the European Economic Area or United Kingdom to the United States. When doing so, we rely on adequacy decisions, data transfer agreements, or other legally compliant mechanisms for such transfers, including standard contractual clauses. You can ask for a copy of these standard contractual clauses by contacting us as set out below.

Where the Meta Pixel is enabled, information collected may be transferred directly by Meta from the EU/UK to the United States. Such transfers are subject to Meta’s own transfer safeguards as described in its Privacy Policy.

SECURITY

We use commercially reasonable physical, managerial, and technical safeguards to preserve the integrity and security of your personal information. In addition, we rely on the technical safeguards provided by the third-party service providers we use to host, store, and process your personal information. We cannot, however, ensure or warrant that your personal information on the Services may not be accessed, disclosed, altered, or destroyed by breach of any of our physical, technical, or managerial safeguards.
